A FEW WORDS ABOUT MARIGOLD:
If you sow marigolds yourself in the garden, remember to collect them on a dry, sunny day, when the flowers have not opened completely because they contain all the richness of active substances. When collecting flowers, our hands become sticky because marigold produces resins, which are a valuable addition to the preparation of soaps, creams or macerates.
Marigold has probably heard about the medicinal properties of each of us – it is probably one of the most universal medicinal and cosmetic plants giving visible effects after use.
It contains saponins and triterpenic alcohols and their esters, sterols, carotenoids, flavonoids, coumarins and essential oil.
When I was making my first marigold soap a few years ago, I was full of hope that it would cure my cracked and rough hand skin and I was not wrong. Properly selected proportions of goat’s milk, which incredibly moisturizes and nourishes the skin, oils and marigold, made my hands regain their former appearance after two months of use. Don’t be fooled by the fact that a certain cosmetic product will bring a certain result. It is not enough to apply it once or twice and expect miracles. You have to be consistent and not make any compromises!
Marigold has regenerative properties, helps to deal with blackheads, acne. Products with marigold are recommended for the care of sensitive skin, prone to irritation, redness, rough and cracked skin. In our soap, combined with the rest of the raw materials, it additionally moisturizes, gently smoothes and softens the skin.
