Borage soap is especially recommended for sensitive, dry and scaly skin, especially for allergic, atopic and mature skin. All because it contains an unusual ingredient, the mentioned borage, which favors the care of this type of skin.
The soap has been enriched with full-fat goat’s milk and coenzyme Q10, which supports the skin’s natural defence mechanisms against lipid peroxidation damage. It supports the proper metabolism of the skin, regulates water management and prevents swellings. It reduces the bags under the eyes. It is intended for use in skin care, anti-wrinkle and sun protection products.
The soap is rich in foams, leaves a protective film on the skin, nicely moisturizes and “calms” the skin. It was not enriched with artificial scents.
Borage seed oil :
The oil obtained from borage seed (Borago officinalis) is the best natural source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). It is classified as a higher polyunsaturated fatty acid (PFC). It is an acid with unique and very different properties from those typical for this group, e.g. linoleic acid found in large quantities in vegetable oils. GLA has a very high biological activity and is an extremely important element for the human body, which is the key to optimal health and beauty. Its deficiency in the body can cause serious problems. It is not found in cow’s milk, but is found in breast milk because it is essential for the proper development of the brain and the entire nervous system. GLA supports the functioning of the immune system and effectively prevents the development of inflammation, which is the cause of many diseases and ailments.
Numerous benefits of GLA make borage oil used in the prevention and treatment of various health problems. It is used to relieve pain, swelling, inflammation and stiffness in case of rheumatoid arthritis. It gives positive results for many different skin ailments such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, dryness, wrinkles, premature skin aging. GLA deficiency for hair and skin is disastrous. It leads to a decrease in the concentration of prostaglandins, which promotes many problems, such as: skin lesions, dermatitis, seborrhea, acne, dandruff, brittleness of hair and nails, hair loss, psoriasis. It weakens the protective barriers of the skin – the skin becomes dry, rough, inflexible, with wrinkles.
