Hydromanil – surface effect: immediate hydration
Since galactomannans in the colloidal matrix cannot penetrate the skin due to the large size of their molecules, they remain on the surface of the stratum corneum, contributing to an immediate filmogenic moisturizing effect.
When hydromanil is applied to the skin, the polysaccharides present in the matrix immediately limit the evaporation of transponder water and additionally retain water in cosmetic products.
Internal operation: accumulation of moisture and regulation of flaking
When galacto-manno-oligosaccharides are released from the matrix, thanks to small molecules, they penetrate the horny layer and become an integral part of the epidermis, where they enhance the effect of accumulation of moisture.
Continued application of hydromanil preserves the three-dimensional matrix on the skin for an extended period of time, allowing the gradual release of particles depending on their size. The oligosaccharides contained in the matrix permeate from the outer surface of the horny layer to its interior as follows: the smallest particles, which are more easily released from the colloidal matrix, reach the innermost layers of the horny layer; the largest particles, which need more time to do so, take up space on the surface of the horny layer.
Thanks to this mechanism, hydromanil is a system of sequential delivery of moisturizing agents into the corneal layer, resulting in a long-lasting moisturizing effect. These small size moisturizers become an integral part of the epidermis and act in synergy with the NMF to increase the amount of retained water (physiological factor). Thanks to moisturizing from the innermost layers, the moisturizing effect will be more durable.
It is especially recommended for dry, mature and damaged skin, damaged and dried hair.
